Meet David Green

I am a lifelong McDowell County resident. I am blessed to have a wonderful wife and three awesome children. I spent 11 years in the coal industry and now am the owner of an multi-county insurance agency and local laundromat. I am passionate about helping McDowell County be the best it can be.

My Mission

I didn’t get into politics because I wanted to.

I didn’t get into politics for the money.

I didn’t get into politics for the fame.

But now that I am "in politics” - I have an overwhelming DESIRE to help McDowell County and West Virginia PROSPER and SUCCEED!!

Help West Virginia succeed economically
Make McDowell County truly Prosper!!
- Bring Economic Prosperity through new Industries providing good paying jobs
- Give ALL our residents access to good, clean water
- Work on roads, internet and sewer infrastructure
- Collaborate with the Board of Education to help ensure quality education for our kids
- Show our children a clear path to success
- Support our seniors
- Tackle the opioid and drug crisis
- Restore Hope to residents of McDowell County
